The front is nice, but the rear is a little spongy still - doesnt really look like its been lowered at all - any suggestions? The dude who put them in said they'd settle a bit after some driving.
cheers :D

Thats a load of sh!t!!!! I had the exact same problem with my jamex lowering springs in my AE-111, lowered the front by 35-40mm but only about 15mm in the rear, my advise is take them back and get some real springs like TRD. The jamex springs where such a hassel, cost me time and money, I wont be buying anything with the word jamex on it again!

What ended up doing was leaving the rear jamex springs in there and getting slightly higher jamex springs in the front to even it out (I can get you the part number for the front if you want) but if you are happy with the ride quality and height in the front it might pay to go for some different springs because they dont do a lower jamex spring for the rear.

Yeah i never use any mag wharehouse or any of those gay places for anything, no offense to younger tradespeople (such as myself :D ) but it seemed like Hyper Tires in Penrose was full of ill experienced idiots who didnt care about quality or saving the customer money.

Is it possible to buy a set of rear super low kings for an AE111?

thanks

Ive had several sets of jamex in different cars, had a good rate & lowered both cars around 40mm. For the price, they are fine, but yo can get better for not much more also.
As for stores, I agree, there are good and bad ones around...its just a matter of getting peoples opinions before trying if concerned. Simple solution is learn to do it yourself- then there is never a hassle! :)

i dont know about lowering springs anymore.

sure if its a cruiser then get them
but if your doing anything half serious go adjustables.
they seem to ride so much better, plus you can adjust them.

*vowels never to buy lowering springs again*

Unfortunately for the working class, that triples the budget - lowering springs are a good medium between standard and saving for coilovers - which yes, must be a lot better.

Coilovers arent even much better as far as handling goes, Infact for the road they are worse. The best springs to get are good dual rate coils, they will be as good as coilovers with a good set of shocks and don't take huge amounts to set up.
