Super Charged 3SFE Can Anyone Help

Hey guys has anyone super charged a 3SFE before is there a super charger that bolts on can anyone point me in some direction i have been searching google hi and low for some one who has done it??

I am stumped

3SFE isn't built for performance. I somehow doubt its the best engine to choose for a 'Z' project.

And yes, post in the right forum next time eh. :)

your probably best off supercharging a 3s-ge :)

I think a supercharged/turbo fe is a good Idea, better cams for low rev torque and relatively low compression.


Of course, they will explode on a regular basis but at around $300 or less for a complete replacement engine it could be a good bit of fun. Setup costs could be as little as $400 (second hand turbo and manifold, little bit of fab to get an oil drain/feed etc) and then it would be a minor issue to swap the gear over when you 'splode things.


This is assuming you can change engines/do most of the work yourself.

If not, buy a 3sgte. Turboing a 3sge is a bitch by all accounts so probably not the best suggestion either.
