Hey guys. Ive been lurking around for a while. I own a 2003 Echo 1.3. Pretty slow little car (compared to some on here ) but i enjoy it. Fun little thing.
Anyway, since this is the "car Audio" section, i thought i might post up what hides within this little car. My goal since the start of the year has been to achieve the best sound quality i can, on my minimal budget.
So here are some pics, and a few explanations:
^ This is my headunit, a Blaupunkt Seattle MP74. Before this i was running a sony xplod headunit, which was good, but im not so much an xplod fan anymore.
^ Thats just my dashboard, shows how the headunit fits against the dash. This headunit looks alot better with this car than the sony did. and its features are 10x better.
^ My left door. That is a Response Precision 6.5" midwoofer in custom door pods and the crossover that came with it.
^ Tweeter on the door sail
^ The sub setup. A Sony Xplod 2x250w RMS amplifier and a response precision 300w rms DVC subwoofer. the amp runs one voice coil per channel @4ohm. I built the box myself out of 18mm MDF. its approx 35 litres sealed.
^Thats the amp which is running the front speakers. Its a response precision 2x150w RMS.
So yeah, thats my echo
