Full redline is 7500 but I thought rev limiter was around 7800. I have accidentally revved mine past 8000 on a few occasions missing hooking 2nd gear

How did you do that??? did you remove the factory rev cut, or are you running aftermarket ecu?

Mine has revved past 8000 on one or two accidental occasions. Still factory ECU, dont think its been tweeked. Has a speed limiter at approx 200kph which isnt very difficult to hit at all :)
If it doesn't fit, force it.
If it breaks it needed replacing anyway!

I think you will all find that at 7000 rpm onwards you will be really surprised how far out a standard or even aftermarket tacho will be,
some we've seen have been up to 600rpm out, usually on the high side.

yeah mine always hits at 7500-7600rpm,

evlgtz, how much boost you run it on at 8400rpm? and did you find it beneficial to raise it to that?
