would a 185 alternator fit an st 165 ie same out puts mounts etc

slightly differnt pin config on the 3 pin plug i believe
not har to sort but yes its bolt on otherwise

From memory you can't fit the heatshield either. I had a ST182 one one my ST165 I think. I went through a few alternators...
