how do you disconnect driveshaft from a ke70 rwd gearbox?

exactly what title states, im in the middle of talking the gearbox out and where the drive shaft is connected to the gearbox seems to be surrounded by some steel, not 2 sure where to go from here. help would be appreciated.

Pull it, it will be on a spline so it should just slide off

please note.. DRAIN GEARBOX OIL BE4 REMOVING DRIVESHAFT .. i was not aware that not draining the gearbox before the removal ended me up wit having a big mess on the garage floor! haha

lol, yeah, its always good practice to drain fluids from anything one removes from a vehicle.
