Queens Birthday Trackday *Done and Dusted*

Postby Chelles » Mon Feb 13, 2006 4:47 pm

Hi all,

Track day Monday 5th June 2006 – Taupo (small track)

It’s time to get organised as it's only two months away and the track hire age needs to be paid up.

Those of you who have emailed me will get an entry form over the next few days to fill in and get back to me with your payment. I need payment urgently so I can pay the MIT Development Ltd.

Cost is $69.00 per driver, you can run up to three drivers per car, however I will limit amount of multi entries to 10 cars for ease of running for the day. If you haven’t expressed your interest please email me today to make sure you don’t miss out.
I have a cut off of 36 drivers this time.

Any questions let me know.

Oh and there will be no drifting…

Thanks
Chelles :)

If it's an accident that it's ok, but please don't push the line sweetheart or I will send you away.

It is up to the organisers. The last time a combined day was run with drifters and non drifters I had no end of trouble. The drifters were throwing up stones on to the race/drive line for everyone else causing a dangerous situation, we had to stop several times and sweep up. Not to mention three crashes that stopped the fun for at least 15 mins each time...

So sorry to say I won’t have them combined, however you could hire the track for yourselves and have a drift day. All you need to do is find the best part of $1700 for the hire.

Cheque's in the mail

What type of overalls - just basic cotton ones? Anybody know where to look for a cheap set?

Will there be an area that we can put spare petrol/tools/parts where it won't get stolen?
