Toyspeed Legend Award

Postby Chelles » Tue Apr 04, 2006 11:52 am

Hi all

It’s time for Toyspeed Legend again.

Every year we award a trophy to the person within Toyspeed who has done outstanding work for the club and who you all feel contributes in a positive way to Toyspeed. This doesn’t necessarily mean that they are only forum based, but an active member who contributes on and off line. Someone you look up to, admire or appreciate. This award is presented at the Toyspeed Queens Birthday Weekend in Taupo at the end of the Track day on Monday 5th June.

I am calling for nominations for the person who you feel is worthy of this award.
Last year MrRevhead (Warwick) was the recipient and was certainly well deserved.

Please email you nomination to legend@toyspeed.org.nz with your explanation as to why they are TS Legend to you. You may only nominate one person and all nominations must have “Toyspeed Legend” in the subject line of your email.

Nominations close Sunday 30th April 2006 and voting will start Wednesday 3rd May 2006.

Thanks
Chelles

Just from thinking back over the past year I can't really say that anyone stands out or has done anything that big or important that would warant a Legend award really... :?

Tis going to be a hard one...

what says that it has to be big or important to be warrantable for the award?

what about the person whos not necessarily fronting the big things... but is always there to support, lend a hand wherever necessary, and is dependable? maybe vote for that guy....

It seems that given rope, TS members choose to hang themselves... !
