a guy wanted my ae85 k50 driveshaft, i counted 20 spline.
but he says his k50 has 21 on output? is this possible? i think his is for a 4k engine but not sure.

Yep theyre 20 spline on the output shaft.
T50 input is 21?? Maybe he got mega mixed up...
Either way K50 is 20 spline, ive tested the same driveshaft in a KE70 K50, AE70 K50 and a 20 Spline T50, and fitted all of them.

Nah, input shafts can be 19 or 21 spline on the 4k boxes. Never checked the output though.

Heh, no one mentione input shaft on a 4K box. The output on a 4K box is 20 spline.
