Umm thats not even the reserve price, I would say the reserve is well over $10,000, its worth every cent. AE85/6s are only going to get more expensive.

The motor would have been worth 15k to construct.

Im not saying its not worth the price but in the end its still a 22 year old car isn't it. I can't justify spending that much on a car that old unless I actually witnessed the work done to it myself. Usually car mods don't make the value appreciate so thats where I am going with what I said. Even if it had millions of dollars put into it, a car dealer probably wouldn't take more than $2500 on a trade in, mostly because a lot of them are morons but also because to an everyday Non-Toyota lover its just another 22 year old Toyota.

I still belive the price of them would be high even if that silly program didnt exist. Just more people are aware of it, thats all.

If it "only a 22 year old car" then explain classic car sales......... yeah yeah, I wouldnt pay more then a grand for a 55 Chevy., because they are 60 years old................ when have you ever priced an old car on its trade in value.........

er... A car is priced on what people would pay.... welcome to the cult cars. Its just like the old Datto 1600, prices will rise...
Anyway, this is one mint mint mint car, hell, even the brand new works wheels are prolly 2 or 3 grand....

Drifter just told me about this thread so i though id add my 2 cents.

To people like old ollie boy. Thanks for ur input mate.

I have a very detailed history on this car, receipts, photos of body and engine build up as it all came together.

Pretty muich all the work on the car was done by Lynn rogers, tama autos, Drifter4ag and myself. So between us we can answer any question u care to ask.

I didnt think i would sell this for a very long time either but have a kid on the way and this is not really a car to drive a baby round in. So thats my reason for selling.

Cheers to everyone who has helped me out over the years with this.

oh btw, I think its overpriced because I can't afford it.

That is all. :P  :x

Edit: For everyone who hates me for what I post, I was brought up as a skeptic so it comes naturally for me to be skeptical on alot of things, its how I was brought up, its who I am, I would apologise for it but meh I can't change it.
