Hey was just wondering if someone could tell me if an ae101 levin that had a 4afe in. Does it have pressed wheel bearings in the rears? the rear is drum brake to.

Hey, if you call repco or BNT, they should be able to tell you what type it uses, Id guess it would use taper rollers, but it may also be a hub? Youd have to probley call them at the end of day anyways to source parts?

They are a throw away unit as far as being practical. mine crapped out after half million k's and i just put low milage 2nd hand ones back in as i imagine the genuine toyota ones arent cheap and i have not seen aftermarket units round either. having seen quite a few they dont appear to me to be too user friendly for dismantling. hiff the whole hub and put a better nick one on, they are easy to take off
currently beating - AE101 Sedan, blacktop/6spd, tein coilovers, braided lines, cup holder, and every other bloody thing possible.

you cant tighten them, they arent like the old conical bearing races like on old escorts.
