0800 Brakes, give them a call.

I havnt enquired but id say they wont drill/slot old second hand rotors that arent thier own. You can buy off the shelf drilled/slotted rotors as bolt in replacments, your usual stockists sell them, but 0800 Brakes are best.

Only one listing for SW20s, I dont know if they just use a single size rotor on most models or not. Show a listing for slotted and crossdrilled though

Dont do it to standard items. Crossdrilling will only make them weaker

The Masterton Repco have a pair in stock, thats for Gen 1 SW20. I bought the last set of plain slotted rotors for my car, they're bloody good.

But seeing your SW20 is NA, dunno if they make the smaller brakes with Slotted........

Hold on, you have an NA, why would you need slotted rotors?

AKANE my car is in the process of a full rebuild, which will include a turbo convertion, going to do it all once and do it right, so the brakes are getting upgraded.

What year is your MR2? does it have the 92 bigger brakes?
If you're still on the older 91 brakes, you might want to do a brake conversion first to the later bigger brakes.

If you're on 92+, you'll find a pad upgrade is already good, but if you're motherfriggin' EXTREME >_<!, you might want a BBK (Big brake kit).

Now, are you EXTREME >_<! ?

General consensus is that its dangerous to cross-drill standard disks, as you stand a higher chance of fractures or cracks in the disk, leading to *very* unpleasant results at high speeds. Cross-drilling is a bit over the top for a road car. Slotted rotors should be the most you need (like in Akane's pic) unless you're planning on doing some very hard track driving. Much safer to buy disks pre-moulded with the slots in them.

Again, 0800 Brakes are the way to go.

I got my brake discs from 0800 brakes, make sure you get the DBA ones, not the China made ones I got.

I thought mine were brembos until I go pick them up.

Surely slotted rotors are a waste of time on a road car, not to mention they munch through pads a lot quicker. You'd be better off spending money upgrading the callipers.
