Immobiliser probs?

i was sitting in the car for like 5 minutes and my car wouldnt start....usualyl my battery would do that but it did. then i jumpstarted it and drove for a bit to recharge that shit and parked it away. i come back a few hours later and again it wont start...i turn the key to start and the alarm just goes off and starts going crazy and if i jump it again then it will start but once i stop then it wont start again

...i wanna know if this is because of the alarm or battery?

any help?

could be alternator...
take the car somewhere and get it looked at, internet diagnosing is hardly ever accurate.

Is the immobilisor new or have you recently fiddled with wiring? How old is the battery? How old is the car? How old is the Alternator?

sorry but alternator???lol

i havent fiddled with wiring, the battery is probably 3 months old from the warehouse...last month a fuse blew and the same thing was happening...
but its not the fuse

i want to take it in but im not sure whether it is alarm problems or battery problems.

ahhm yeah, the alternator, the problem you described is that your battery is flat, hence you needed to jumpstart it. you went for a spin to charge it up, and it didn't charge it, so either your battery isn't holding a charge, or the alternator isn't charging it... you had described the battery as previously fine, so I suggested the alternator.

with the fuse blowing last month it may have been telling you that something "wasn't right"... replacing them is not always a "good fix" without knowing why it blew in the first place.

again, like I said, internet diagnosing is hardly ever any good, take it to an auto electrician, and get them to figure it out.
