detomaso help

hi all, in know its not a toyota, but does anyone know where the factory oil pressure sensor and the factory water temp sensor are on a detomaso,engine code is hd-eg, i have tried pretty much all the sensors i can find and havent found them, i am putting in after market guages hense my problem any help would be awesome,
p.s all might not be lost it may get a re power with a 4agze, or maybe a blacktop it is going to get turned into a circuit car eventually
drive it till it breaks, then upgrade it

dont do that, there a gem of an engine...if anything turbo the existing one.

As for the sensors, if you are still stuck late next week I will look at my mates. I remember mucking round with them when I last serviced her car, but that was a good few months ago now. theres several people on here with detoms though, so someone should be able to help.

try searching for De Tomaso....and I'm guessing he's talking about the Charade

I just had a quick look on mine, and i couldnt see them :?. If your stuck still soon i can go have a good look, but i have back problems at the mo :(

i have just joined up with daihard.org, so will soon ask them

yip im still stuck at mo, but ill wait for there reply, and to ae92typex and at this stage i am about to purchase a td04 4 a very good price so i will forceify the standard motor for now then maybe something a bit stronger if it goes pop, but from what ive been able to find 10psi is a safe number of puff to run,

cheers if anyone does find the sensors please post
