Toyota put air temp sensors in for a reason, because different air temperatures have different densities. This, along with the pressure sensed from the MAP sensor will let your ECU calculate that nominal air to fuel ratio and stop your engine from overfueling or leaning out.
It won't help you go fast, but it will help you go slow
