yeah, um, why would anyone send there car to pit stop, for anything.....

lol, yeh i had a chuckle at that also. this amused me more.. why would he take it there if they ask this

and palmerston north pitstop guys really only do basic jobs, last month they even asked my mate where to connect the hose which come off ssqv bov,.....

If that is the car in the pic then the dizzy only goes in one way as the locator is offset so it won't go in any other way.

Why the hell would you take your car to Pitstop for anything other than an exhaust job? Considering Fortec are right across the road, and Malcolm actually has a clue.sure it might take forever, but it'll get done

Shit there are dozen garages within 1km of pitstop that would do a 200 times better job than them dropkicks.

Got it back, it idles at 3000RPM, so going to do the timing tommorow.
De-Greased the bonnet, no more oil stains!

Cleaned all the mess, but still got to try and solve the problem of the engine cutting in and out when warm!!
13 RPM signal, could it have something to do with the air fuel?

Better still for revenge. Turn off water at toby in middle of night and fill with quick drying cement used for letter box posts. Works wonders and costs a bomb to fix. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Sounds like your mate is not really your mate for ripping up your car without premission, my mate does all my work for me and would never do that.

just Go all asian on his arse and put him in a suitcase and thru him overboard.

Ive fixed everything they $&#$%, and more..

My alarm suprisenly works now, the battery came home dead so its charging now and the alarm siren suddenly works, so i hooked it all back up..
So thats one bonus, maybe when he played with the wiring he found a short...

Never seen my car so clean, polished the outside and all the dash trim's.. so shiney :)

Whats a good idle for the car, its idling at 1500 now cold, 2000 warm..
Only thing i cant fix is the door handle, on the passnger door is really loose on one side, took the door trim off but couldnt get to the bolt unless i dismantle half my actual door.

Any idea's of the actual problem, of the engine cutting in and out ONLY WHEN WARM
13 RPM signal, i done everything the code suggests so what other things could this be refering too?

agree with sniper, warm should be about 900, cold would be 1300 - 1500 I would say.

I forget what my 4AGE is set at as its been rebuilt and I havent run the car in a while :oops:

you shold be able to get to the door handle bolt with just a extension on a 10mm socket
