seen roofracks on one. Have not seen a towbar, but for just the weight of a bike, it would be easy enough to rig something up.
Cant believe im still a member here.

An SW20 doesn't have the nessacery mounting points for a tow bar.

However, I do recall seeing one on Trade Me that was a home jobbie, and I think the mounting part was quite long and mounted somewhere on the subframe.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Seen many on trade me with towbars...if was only for the weight of a bike surely you could bolt to where the sway bar bolts on?

Have seen toybars, not from Toyota though, custom one should cost you ~$300-350 with wires.

I think you can get a system which hooks around your boot lip and then has straps back over the engine cover which keeps it all together...kinda hard to explain, but the straps are like wires on a suspension bridge so the weight is directed through them and not onto your bumper...

A girl i work with had one on her AW11 but im sure it would work on an Sw20 as well...

failing that either: Take the wheels off and put the bike in the passenger seat

or

Take the seat and wheels off and put in the boot with a bungy holding the boot lid down...my bike fits this way.

thanks for the help guys. Interested to hear that you do the old bootlid- bungy Timmo, sounds like that would solve the problem until I get something else sorted

have seen an mr2 towing a trailer, so i would assume you can fit one, ring up a couple of towbar places and ask them.
