sounds like words spoken from someone who has never measured one.

a 1UZFE is only 60mm shorter than a 2JZ. Drop a 1UZFE into a surf and you are just as pressed for space as I was with my 2JZ.

If its toyota power you desire then i'd head for the 3.4 V6 VZN185 surf motor. but personally I wouldn't touch an VZ series V6.

why?????????
out of interest (as mum has one)

they are basically a 700x700 cube. width, height and length

i have done a conversion on an isuzu ute and they have the same engine bay.

fits sweet as. custom engine and trans mounts,
small alternator mod heater hoses are a bit tight.

you have PM...Ideally though I am looking for a 2.5-3L engine as it goes alright now, just sucks at gas...( 5kms a litre anyone?)

Going by alot of the things that they fit 1UZ's into.....60mm is a hell of a lot

not really, i think the only reason you dont see 2JZGE's in everything under the sun is because people forget about them. They are dime a dozen, can be picked up with ecu, loom and auto trans complete for a conversion with a warranty from toyota dismantlers for $1000-1200
