i have a rebuilt gen 2 block with nicely done gen 1 head sitting atop with H/G and inlet manifold all in and place next step was the exausht manifold BUT the gen 1 head is missing two outer studs whats the right thing to do ?ingore it ? or get a gen 1 manifoold? any other sugestions

When you say 'missing', does this mean they are lost or there simply aren't holes drilled and tapped for them from factory?

3sgte and yeah there are no factory holes for the studs to go in!!!, the engines away from me at the mo but i sure the cast manifold has ten holes and the head has 8 studs, has anyone just used the manifold anyways?cause thats the plan???????????? also i have a kn and 3 inch dump pipe from driven coming soon and then the engines going back in,standard everything else whats the next mod that would compliment the downpipe????oh yeah the cranks been balanced and i got new clucth kit im thinking i might get the flywheel lightend (surfaced)
