my one, not on a GTT, but still, cost ~$180, but I got a few other things done at the time, so maybe the costs were shared around a bit between jobs.

It consisted of swapping a chunk of plastic pipe with multiple bends with some blingy shiney one that was pretty much straight, slapping my pod on the end, re-tapping the air flow sensor thingy, and making a nice box to surround the pod and grab air from a cold place.

Unless you plan on moving the battery to the boot, there's little to be gained over putting a panel filter in the standard airbox.

Dont use car audio power cable - too much current loss (although "0" gauge may be ok, yet rather pricey!) Theres an auto electricians on the strand, parnell - they sell suitable cable and can crimp rings on the end etc for you at the same time. Its about the thickness of 4 gauge, but a lot better for battery relocation.

You're kidding right? (decent) car audio cable is designed to maximize current flow. What's so super special about this other cable?

Bring it into us at Advanced Automotive, and we can quote you up for what you're after. It can be done in stainless, alloy or a few other materials that look really good and keep the heat out of the filter.

We are at:
205b Archers Road
(09)441-6988

Cheers
