low 20v idle

fine till the car gets warm
then it can sometimes be fine and then sometimes will drop to about 500rpm
then sometimes will bounce around abit from 500-900rpm

any suggestions?

do you have any water leaks? or had any water leaks? also have you got aircon
want a ae86, dont want to pay 8 grand for one
have to settle for my ae92

only started doin this after i put the thermostat back in

ok did you bleed the air from the water/coolant? after you replaced the thermostat?
want a ae86, dont want to pay 8 grand for one
have to settle for my ae92

yeah pretty sure i got all the air out.. maybe i should try again
i was thinking maybe something to do with the a/c being missing

yeah try again, when its warmed up turn the temp control on the ac controls to hot. i dont think that would happen when the a/c was removed unless you still turn the switch a/c switch on and off

On 20v ISCV sits on the side of the head, without any water lines going through it. so air lock is not the issue here. The low idle can be becuasue of vacuum leak, or the screw on the AFM needs to be adjusted, but don't adjust without proper equipment (wide band O2), there is a trick how to adjust it, using VF output adjust it this way so it will have all the time 2.5V while idling, this will only work with healthy O2.
