U will find that alot of toyota engines have strong enough bottom ends to take a few pounds. Some even have factory low compression!!!
Will the wonders of my mind ever be exhausted?

Superchargers seem to be a fairly rare was of getting more power these days. Its nice to be a little bit different.
AE85coupe wrote:no offence man.. but i've seen cars turboed for $500
hell $8000 worth of turbo would make this thing nuts
infact, you could rebuild the engine with lower compression etc. to suit a turbo, then turb it.. for less than 8000
and if you want nice drivability, you could spend about half of what you are spending and get a wee turbo for it (and still rebuild the engine)
barryogen wrote:yes it could be re-worked with lower compression, but well, thats not going to overly help, the 2zz doesn't like anymore than about 10PSI before they start throwing pistons through blocks sideways.
