gze water pump removal

is it possible to remove the water pump with out taking the s/c and inlet side offf??? ive undone everything one the belt side(all bolts and dipstick etc. but somethings holding it from behind, obviously the lines. how do i get to these to relaese the pump???

theres a pipe that runs back of the block to the thermostat housing.
you need to disconnect that from the thermo housing and unbolt it from the block.
that will allow you to pull the pump away from the block. jiggle it round untill the pipe is hanging down, now from the pipe side you can get a long extension up in there and undo the 2 bolts holding that pipe to the pump
