Automatic Transmission Servicing

Postby EVLGTZ » Sun May 07, 2006 11:04 am

Am looking to get the transmission on my avenir flushed and topped up with some new oil

Can anyone recommend anywhere good on the north shore to do this?

Checked out a couple of places and prices seem around the $180 mark.

Cheers

hey man, its not very hard work
takes about 30mins to an hour at most
i can get you the filter for probably around $30-$40 and then about $25 for fluid.

you will probably find that the filter hasnt been replaced in ages.
You could always replace the filter and replace the fluid.

then do 1000kms and replace the fluid again, im sure that would be as good as a flush
