I'm there - got a few of the msport guys coming with me as well. We've got a party the night before so MAY be slightly hungover... But we'll never pass up an excuse to rip round a paddock :D

Tonights mission: Tighten up handbrake and pull ABS fuse

grass courses that fill up most of a paddock, 2nd/3rd gear stuff
still good for road cars

Well, it impressed me. I'm not sure how you are going to top that next time.. :)

I'm sure it made a difference (or didn't, as Captain Coker pointed out because he bet you for once) on a completely wet muddy surface...
All I seemed to do was clear a path for everyone with those dodgy tyres of mine...

And yeah... that Autocross was cancelled. Because it was too wet. Even though it was sunny on Sunday..

However, Motorsport weekend is 10-11 June, consisting of Autocross followed by Motorkhana at Ruapuna (the Autocross track is going to be something quite interesting according to the organiser), then a Car Trial at night, followed by the Circuit Sprint Speed event on Sunday.

4 Event Competition, but you don't have to enter every event to have a go. Come watch (or even compete)

PS DRFTIN, I expect that wing on each car you use over the weekend
If I say I don't need anyone
I can say these things to you
'Cause I can turn on any one
Just like I turned on you
I've got a tongue like a razor
A sweet switchblade knife
And I can do you favors
But then you'll do whatever I like

what style is the Sunday speed event going to be??

we have a sprint/autocross at Levels on Saturday, curious to know whether i should try to budget have a play on Sunday as well :?:

Our normal Circuit Sprint Speed Day event... (if you've seen one)

Weather permitting, normally 4 different track layouts (normally Full GP Circuit, Old Ruapuna Circuit, Club Circuit twice - with and without dipper), with 2 runs at each, being a indian file (warm up lap), a standing lap, a flying lap, then a warm down lap.

You race overall, and also against your class. However the groups you race against are mixed. You race 2 at a time, with the next 2 starting 8-10 seconds after the previous 2.

Ends up being 24 laps, with prizegiving and a few beers afterwards. Should be a good turnout being CCC's motorsport weekend and all.

i dont think it will survive an autocross...
the front is now held in by 1 screw, which it cable tied/tied on with string to the side window opener
the rear is bolted through the standard plastic spoiler that is half broken

but we'll see what i can do :P
