Dynatron alarm manuals?

Postby snwtoy » Fri May 19, 2006 9:27 pm

I have a dynatron alarm in my new wee beasty (came with it). It's an older model with the red led instead of a blue one.

I'm hoping that when I take the dash apart I'll find the brain this weekend, and there'll be a model number somewhere on it.

If this is the case, are there manuals available? I really want to disable the blimmen auto-arm and enable central locking.

Cheers!@

Blue LED is definitely the newer or higher end models in my experience, otherwise the installer could be swapping it to keep the blue led for himself.

red led is a 3 series alarm (standard type system) push remote button to turn immobilisers off

blue signifies 7 series alarm system. transponder in remote turns immobilisers off for you.

the case wont give you a lot, it will have a generation code on it and a build date.

ring dynatron on 0800 508 904 and talk to the operator there, they will have your car on record hopefully and will be able to tell you what it is

cheers
