got problem with pop up head lights

does any1 know what is the problem about those MA61 supras pop up head lights? when i turn off the head lights, they wont stay in the bonnet, and just keep going up and down.but when i turn on the lights, they are seems OK. dont wanna get bloody flat battery. ...

aw11s have similar issues related to dodgy earths
not sure if the ma6# have the same problem.
it could be a faulty light relay

for a temporary fix unplug the relay. that will leave them stuck in position though, but at least they wont cycle endlessly

yeah I have this problem in one of my AW11s. I swapped a new retact relay unit into it and the problem is fixed
