removing superstrut control arm

How do you remove a lower arm from superstrut ae101? Its the front left one as seen on this thread:

should make sense just looking with it jacked up and wheel off. undo the bolts, crack ball joint and whip on a new/rebuilt unit.

yeah its not the "common" one, but it still fails often enough no to be rare

Were you asking how to get the one out that is circled in that picture, or the one at the front? If its the one at the front it should just be the 3 nuts/bolts holding it, then the fun bit is trying to get that link arm out without going slightly nuts and beating the living crap out of it with a hammer

Yea the circled one, if you scroll down in the other thread, theres an exploded view of it all, with the arm circled, found that the ball joint can prolly b repaired by hpi engineering here in chch so no need for new one, hoping that they dont charge me to much for the repair!
