Ahh to live in a country with many surplus jet engines. & to have to much time on your hands.

Though i have to admit it is impressive.

How can it be legal though? Wonder if its legal in NZ? I imagine that would be an interesting conversation with LTSA. Hi yeah i was wondering how id go about registering my vw bettle for road use, nah its not really moddified,although it does have a huge jet engine out the back & yup it does work. Cool so its a low volume import then?

Me thinks a way to get past the frontal impact laws. i mean what help are they gonna be if you hit them at jet speed?

Ive seen a similar one before (different cars). but yeah, street legal- I doubt a flame that size comming out the back at any point would be deemed street legal in nz.Breaks would need to be 'souped up' a little too lol...maybe the nezt mini needs a jet engine rather than a japper...lol

No way thats road legal. If you stand behind a small turbine helicopter you can feel the heat 20-30 metres away from it. That would peel the paint or melt anything thats plastic on a car if it pulled up behind it.

The Y2K motorbike is street legal in the US, and it is powered by a small jet engine. Jay Leno said on Greatest Ever: Motorcycles that he has accidently melted the front of a Dodge Neon or something like that because the guy behind him got too close because he was trying to check out the bike.

I should imagine that it's road legal as long as you don't crank up the jet engine. Then again, the Y2k bike is supposedly legal
