Im moving the battery in my wagon to the boot. Ive got crimps and lugs. Where should I run the cable? Under the carpet? Or is under the car ok? The cable has two layers of insulation.
And do I need to put another fuse in the boot?
And new grounding points. Should I just run one good cable to the body somewhere and bolt it on, or run like two or three seperate leads?
Thanks for all ya help people.

what i did when i ran my battery to the boot in the supra
ran 1 gauge from boot to start cable
then another cable from starter to a distribution block for other 12v feeds in the engine bay.
I had a 140amp circuit breaker in the boot, just beside the battery.
1 thick 1 gauge cable for the earth, as short as possible.
all under the carpet through the cabin

I run 1 gauge positive inside the car up to an insulated jump point in the engine bay. And same sized earth under the car up to the chassis in the engine bay. I also have an earth cable from the battery to the chassis in the boot and a heavy cable from the front chassis to the gearbox.
I probably went a bit overboard but Ive never had a problem.

If it doesn't fit, force it.
If it breaks it needed replacing anyway!
