Question for ST202 nuts.

Postby Alex B » Tue May 30, 2006 9:55 pm

I have a friend looking at a 98 Celica (ss3?)

Beams redtop yada yada yada, the thing i notice is that it lacks the, what i thought to be factory projector headlights :?

So can someone tell me if not all 98 celicas had the projector headlights. Not a big deal i know but i guess it could indictae crash damage etc. As i owuld assume the projectors wouldnt be as common and alot more expensive.

Said car can be found here: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Toyota/auction-57891378.htm

Cheers Alex :)

I barely understand the Q.

However if you give the thing a good inspection, lack of evidence of any other damage probably means the car is fine.

Contrary to popular believe, if accident damage is correctly repaired the car is _fine_. So if you cant see evidence of a prang being fixed its either

1) never had one

2) Been bloody well fixed

3) been bloody well hidden.

So give it a close enough look to ensure 3) isnt valid and theres probably nothing wrong with it.
