anybody get good deals on tyres?

hey people, i badly need some cheap cheap 13inch tyres (preferebly 185's or wider) anybody know of any around for a dam good price?

i'm a student so i = poor

What size/profile etc? You wanting brand new?

i don't mind if brand new or second hand, as for size, as long as they are 13inch and not like 155's or anything stupid, i don't care what profile, i'll be happy (like 185/70 would be perfect i guess)

they are for my run around car, the trueno is just too rowdy to be a daily driver anymore

I think I've got a couple spare at work, may be 175/70/13s though. I'll have a look for you tomorrow and price up some new ones

what size are the ones you priced? sorry to sound like a real tight bastard but will it be much cheaper without fitting and balancing? cause i can get my flatmate to do that at his work

i can get ya some GT Radial's for $70 185/70 13. but thats fitted and balenced. not sure what they would cost for just the tyre's.

But on topic, I need 4 195/50-15 orrrrr even better 205/50-15, what sort of deals can be done?!

Dunlop Dizerra 205/50/16s I could get for $160 per tyre, haven't priced up 15s. Same size Federal 535s were around the $120 mark from memory. Not quite as good grip wise but a lot cheaper and probably last longer. What sort of price range were you looking at?

Probably up to around $125/tyre, but if there was a significant difference I could save my pennies and handle a bit more expense
