TD05h rebuild

Postby trueno_20v » Sat Jun 03, 2006 11:32 pm

I brought a TD05h 14b turbo off a vr4 for my 4agte, has quite alot of shaft movement side to side, i am wanting to probly rebuild it, had a rough quote of $500-$800, who knows a good place/not too expensive to do this?

It depends how much shaft play there is, & if the wheels have touched the housings, we (at Alltech) normaly quote between $450-550 +GSTdepending on the condition of the turbo...

when getting the turbos reconed , there is cheap , and then there is good . dont cut corners or use o dodgy guy , i payed quite a bit and got a 360 degree bearing put in my garrett t25 , so that it is capable of the boost i will give it .
I got mine done at nz turbo chargers , as these were the only guys who wood give a guarantee on their work , 1 years guarantee , no-one else wood give a guarantee at all 8)
