New Number Plates

I mustn't get out much, I've only noticed one of these new plates. When I bought my car in February I was the 1st official NZ owner so the car yard had held off registering it til I bought it. I just missed out on getting the new "fancy" plates by about one month (bought it early Feb). Oh well, I'm sure I'll get over it.

nearly a year maybe? every 10th car has one, takes a while to get them into circulation, the first one I saw was maybe 9 months ago at a guess.

All plates, General Purpose, Personalised and Trade plates manufactured from 1 March 2006 will have the new plate character font with the plate series starting DFN

quite like the new ones
font is very similar to aussie plates it seems

Uk i think. Hmm im sure they were around before i went to the states, that was well over 9 months ago now
