Man they do look damn good on the car!!

Excellent choice of tyres in Dunedins postively moist road conditions.
I believe strongly in the Goodyear F1s

Nice, but I'm still a firm believer that *E7*'s were made with hotwires/superlights/spitfires in mind.. 17's just don't look right, IMO.

Still, pretty tidy nonetheless, good job man.

Hmm rekon they would look better an inch smaller. Need to roll them gaurds and bring it down a but more and they should look sweet! (not that they dont already

Saw ya cruising up Moray Place, Thursday i think it was, putting along in what seemed like first gear about 6,000rpm hahah.

P.s. To all the people who hate 3au's! Its better to have a car thats cheap and slow than a car that has too much power for the driver! Not pointin at anybody?????
Anyway why throw away a really good nick engine that costs me nothin to drive. Im absolutley itching for the black top but its just gonna have to wait for paint and panel first.
Oh yeah an if it still goes sideways im a happy man! Which is a little difficult now i have good tyres! Whoops

When does it go sideways. 3aus suck balls. Mine is a reliable piece but thats all it has going for it. The only time a 3au will get loose is in the wet.

but the 3au that shawn has is a good 1.

it will only drift in the wet if you are trying to power drift.
if you are good with brakes and weight shft it will drift in the dry. it has a good balance.

driving underpowered cars means you got to have skill to get sideways.
Instead of being some mug with 400hp a turbo and rwd..

Trust me man. Its hard but some corners are no problem to get drift even in the dry! You just gotta find the right ones

Wise words there. Consider the drift king! Why is he soooooo good?
Because he learnt in a (relatively) underpowered but very well balanced car(the mighty AE86)
Take a lesson from the master. It takes a hell of a lot more skill to drift an underpowered car than it does a 400hp monster.
Oh and i did use to drive a very very quick flame breathing rx7 for 5 years. So I know what thats like. Now I drive a 3AU? :twisted:

Oh an I came to my senses regarding which color top 4age.

Black for sure!!
Silver is good but black is just better and dosen't cost that much more.

umm. yeah you could shift the weight, but it dosnt have enough power to spin the wheels in the dry, so you cant keep it going, so not really a drift.....

the difference between a 4age and a 3au is insane, you think its not that hard to slide now, drive one with a 4age in it
