umm have you ever sat in the back of a prelude?

I owned an 88 Prelude for a couple of years, and the back seat was much more comfortable than any of my friends crx's... of course neither are ideal 4 seaters, but then what 2 door car is?

See? Thats the mentality behind the MR2. Just get rid of thoes annoying seats! :D
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

I think the old 1990-1992 Preludes might be a good choice.
They are decently powerful, and fairly common too. (thinking parts...)
I was surprised by these, they actually went pretty good....

Apparently less space than a standard AE101 in the back, but I doubt if the CRX is any better....[/quote]

Hahahah, as a Nissan man myself, you've made a good choice!

Just so you know, the RB25DE is better on gas than the RB20DE. Don't bother with a 5spd conversion, aside from the fact that you probably won't find a complete R33 5spd kit for less than $3000, you just don't get the performance from the n/a to justify it. And I'd hazard a guess, if you do the fuel figures, it won't be much worse than the 4AGE, and Skylines are super reliable! Just make sure you service it regularly..

Automatic large displacement cars are becoming a bit unwanted and unloved these days. I was almost tempted when i saw 2x 1991 soarers for $5500 and $6000 sitting on a Park and Sell lot.
I just couldnt justify the gas!! 8O

Im not sure if I see how a 2.5 litre automatic will use gas like a 4AGE? Maybe if you thrash the 4AGE and leave the skyline parked up for a bit.

I had an automatic car for a year and began to really hate it, braking all the time becomes tedious and boring... then the geabox cashed its chips too....ugh...never again. it was a mitsi however

Skylines however are fantastic cars, nothing sounds as good as a 6 does... ( okay maybe a V12)
