But, there is a new Speed limit along the southern motorway (HW1) between just outside andersons bay to the intersection near caversham.

Its down to 80kph from 100kph, so dont run along at 100 and get pinged... its pretty lame tbh but cant do anything about it. :|

Yeah it is new, most of the time you can't go 100 over there anyway so I don't think it make much of a difference :P

Only reason you cant do 100 is because everyone drives so damn slow down there. Perfectly good for that speed.

Still gonna be races there no doubt...

IMO, they didnt really make it well known that it is now 80k. And half the people still dont know.

On the other hand, what else can you really do when changing the speed signs anywhere. Did they advertise in the paper or anything else ????

Could always have a bling neon sign :P

Think it was in the star or some shizzle. They did it fairly soon after annoucing the change tho.

Can't remember who i was talking to about this, but the article that appeared in Star stated the _possibility_ of the change coming into effect, nothing more. AFAIK.
