Cars at pick a part today (bonus rant about Auck drivers!)

Postby KinLoud » Wed Jun 07, 2006 11:13 pm

Did the pick a part marathon today...
Takanini:
- AT210 Caldina Premio with DLI 4afe
- ST195 3sge 4wd Corona/caldina (can't remember which now!!) wagon
- AW11 MR2 white auto minor frontal damage

Middlemore:
- ST185 GT4 turbo and rear diff gone but everything else there
- AE101 Marino/Ceres 20v Manual. motor still there but throttle linkages gone... Glen????

West Auckland:
- nothing very thrilling sorry

Comment - fark are there some awful drivers in Auckland!!! Maybe my number plate says "not local, try to push me off the road or abuse me"
WTF can't people accept that we all have to cooperate to get where we want to go?

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

My auckland daily driver has bull bars with barbed wire wrapped around and broken bottles sticking out in all directions, just so no one will hit me

Yeah - a couple at Takanini... I'm not an EPxx aficionado (fancy way of saying expert) but I think there were 3 there - no turbo ones.

Adrian - yes I think they were later models EP9x's I think but don't rely on my memory.
We need to set up a Pick a Part webcam and server so we look from home at 4am! :)

 Can be quite daunting for an out of towner driving in ak.
But yes there are some shocking drivers around ak. I used to walk to work but have just moved flats & I can say driving to work again is shite. I'd forgotten just how bad some peoples driving skills are
