It's not the mechanicals breaking down you have to worry about, it's the breaking down (literally) of the bodyshell.

Falling through a rusty floor definitely DOES NOT get you laid.

Thats soooo true man, young girlies love the rotaries, Every Rotary bongo, escort, 323 in whangamata had girlies in the back on new years. If they arent in one they are walking down the street wearing rotary shirts!.

I mean why do they love them so much these days?? Is it just the rotary rumble that they love or what??. Ive always wondered about this aye?

Pfft - you can make a $200 clapped out 350 chev sound "tough" to some slapper by hacking the exhaust off

How about - rotor powered panel van

Sound gets the 16 y old skankies in

Look gets the 20ish y old ones

And "Memories of the good old days when I concieved my first child" gets thw 40 y olds

I saw what you said Mr Revhead.
NOTHING sounds like, or will EVER sound like a 1953 BRM!!!!!
Quote that Pink Floyd Dude "A pack of rabid chainsaws"
Dad has a CD of it.
This is from memory but:
It was a 1500cc!!!!! V16 engine with pistons the size of egg cups. it had a belt driven centrifugal super charger 'half a turbo'.
Revved over 20 000rpm!!!. It had MECHANICAL(no electricity) fuel injection.
The exhaust manifold looked like a nest of snakes and it had a megaphone exhaust(bigger in diameter along its length)
About 520bhp. in a car shaped like a cigar with wine biscuit tyres and no rollcage.
IN 1953!!!!!!! It was DECADES ahead of its time.
It was notoriously unreliable and very hard to drive because of the very steep power curve.
Dad went to a race meeting (F1?) back in the olden days where they were going to do a couple of laps or something with this car but it didnt start even after towing it around a few times. Halfway through the meeting they started it in the pits. It drowned out all the other cars it was so loud!!
