BOV selection

Alright guys, i need some advice on a cheap BOV for my CA18DET. Im making custom piping so mounting will be fine but it needs to be re-circulating.
Can anyone recommend a common enough OEM bov to use ?

Evo ones are meant to be pretty good. Must be plenty of those floating around the show :lol:

^^^ What he said - make sure its an evo 4+ one though, the early ones all leak at 14psi approx (saftey backup for rusting WG actuators :lol: ).

The Evo 4 onwards ones will hold 20psi+ quite happily, and they're pretty cheap.

The SW20 ones are supposidly good for decent boost, and plumb back

Sorry to jack the thread but is there a fairly quiet BOV available? Or a way to silence it or is plumb-back the best option? Going for subtle rather than show (noise in this case)

Yep im going to change my B.o.v soon, Ive had an SSQ bov on my car for a week and sick of that noise already.

Anything plumb back is quiet :?

Anything which is venting air pressurised to 20psi is going to be doing bloody well to have no volume....
