Muzz's New Rig

Postby EVL GSXR » Wed Apr 26, 2006 7:40 pm

I am in the process of looking for a new whip.
After selling the GT I am wanting another Starlet but a Glanza instead of a GT.
Have couple of pic's below that my mate has sent through which is in an auction today in Jappa Land and since he import's car's got the low down on it. Find out tomorrow if my Bid was successful! Good base to build another lil rocket :P

Run Down on it:

1998 Glanza V
65.000kms
14in Racing Wheel's (will be changed straight away)
Bucket Seat's
Aftermarket Steering Wheel
Blitz Muffler
Blitz Filter
Turbo Timer
Boost Gauge
Gab Adjustable's
(Sorry for the small pic's the only one's have on the home PC i'll change them tomorrow at work)

First up mod's ANZ Typhoon 17's and a Front Mount. Not interested in Speed as nothing will feel fast again after having the Gixxer :(

Ajz the dude that work that brought it off me was having a kid and sold it to some dude in Central Otago I think. The guy at work told me the guy put a piston through the block! So between them both in a few month's they managed to melt a Piston rebuild it and put another through the Block! That is why you don't sell thing's to young F*** Head's who think running as much Boost as you can is SUPA KOOL!

So what happened to it after the piston went through the block? is it being sold for parts or new block?

Have to say i like the look of the white one better, but has it got as many goodies as the other one?

Good luck with them anyway dude

Naa my bid's were just short dammit! He hhasn't come across any new one's over there semi blinged but all good have brought me a new Accord

SIR 2.2 DOHC V TEC (5 speed manual)

- New Adjusty's put in the other week.
- 19in Chrome TSW's (they were cheap!)
- Full Leather

Now once I get the cash from my Road Bike (since it's pretty much gone) it's going in for full Panel and Paint (Colour Change to Black and some smoothing to bumper's etc), Tint Window's, Tint Light's/Indicator's (properly none this Repco spray crap) wind it done another inch and sort out Cert for Wheel's, Adjusty's and some New Stereo Gear. Should be done within a month or so. (await's the Honda Flaming :D )

Was ur wagon vtec? Much difference between the wagon and the sedan as far as performance goes? (apart from the obvious difference of weight)

My mate has a blue VTEC 2.2 Wagon with 17 chrome mags on it. Lowered on Supers i think. I didn't find it that quick though compared to some of the other VTECs.

Gareth I take it it's the same as mine? If so it would be a Single Cam 2.2 V Tec which is alot different to a DOHC 2.2 V Tec Engine that the SIR Accord's and Prelude's have. The 4 door goes alright but don't think it's anything special. Also you can't really compare an Auto Wagon to a 5 Speed 4 Door.

Yeah good point. Forgot about the transmission. I didn't realise the wagons were all SOHC though. Putting it that way it would make a bit of a diff. I dont know alot about Hondas so wasn't sure

Not that much cheaper if any to over here fella. As my mate said you'd most likely get one cheaper over here but I wanted something that was already blinged as those one's above still would have owed me round 11g.

Pad yeah it goes alright over the speed thing though what a kool cruzer (well it will be when im finished with it :D ) and yeah just sussing out a big install now as well (help's that mate own's his own company :P ) so should be good. Watch this space :D
