From all the cars I've had, and pulled it off out of curiosity - they got marginally louder, went no faster overall, and normally gained themselves some weird flat spots throughout the rev range.

but saying that before airbox go nuts, i've removed my resonator in my guard and small intake pipe have been and cut a hole in the airbox to let more air in got way more low down power.
