As of the 1st of July registering your car will now be cheaper!

They are dropping the ACC levy by about $20 (if you're registering for 12 months)

So registering a standard car will now only cost you $183.20 instead of $200.10

isnt there acc levys in petrol prices as well? so if there has been a drop i wonder if petrol will come down?

Yep most places dropped petrol by 4c yesterday except shell only dropping by 3c.

Have the Dominion Post in front of me, it says Shell led the way with the 4c price drop and all te others followed...

Yeah that is unusual...the paper always has errors though so best way would be to have a look when going past the station...

does this acc levy drop include mopeds? if it does that would mean my moped registration will cost $53 a year.
