Heh, sorry...its basically a device that locks the diff ala welded up style with the press of a button, and then unlocks it again.
Really popular with 4WD guys as it gives the traction of a locked diff as well as being able to be used on the streets as its an open diff under normal circumstances. The required onboard compressor would offset any sort of advantage it has in a light car like a KE though :lol:

oh yep, wouldn't you just buy an lsd though? then you don't need any compressors, and it locks/unlocks all by itself...

Yeah, though LSD's dont unlock as such. Like I said, pretty pointless for a road car, but a cool gimmick :lol:
