upgrade ae92 to superstrut calipers>? worth it

Postby escortman » Thu Jun 29, 2006 11:00 pm

i looked into up gradeing the brakes on the fx and found that the twin pot calipers off the superstrut cars are a easy fit, a few minor changes needed. or just get some better pads?

If it's the same FX you are going to turbo, the yes, you will need them.

They're an easy fit if you can do the machining yourself. And if you have the oppertunity to get the parts for a decent price, then why not? It'll only work in your favour.

You dont necessarily need to change all the brakes when you turbo it. Many applications only require a better set of pads, and maybe a caliper refresh to be able to stop the vehicle adequately.
