Just bought the engine not long ago.
Looking to replace the crusty $500 Gen 1 engine that I have, it has seen better days, with more torque than jesus across the rev range it was very nice to drive and that GT28RS was wonderful at response.

Unfortunately the leaking head gasket has seeped enough water into the sump, and it has killed the big end bearings.

Now I'm in the posession of a Gen 3 ST205 WRC Group A thingee 3S-GTE and as soon as I got the car back from the bodykit fitter, I'll start putting that in.

Don't know if I can break the 200rwkw mark with a Gen 3 tho :P

BTW, if anybody wants a water to air intercooler (with antilag BOV and all that shizzle), or a steel ct20b, let me know, the engine only has 29,000kms, everything's in good condition.

The Trust sidemount flows more CFM than the w2a, also the main reason is that the GT28RS won't bolt up to this w2a i/c because the fitting on this i/c is so "precise" so to speak, the guy who made the adapter/dp combo actually had my GT28RS shifted to the right by about 2-3cm, so it won't bolt up. The Trust I/C has enough "leeway" to make everything fit.

The NZ new's only ever came N/A. Apanrently, (According to RedMist?) some even had the 3SFE....

But what about the Quasiturbine? :(
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Yep, mine had a 3SFE. My old man bought it for 45k (when retail was 55k) in 1990. I purchased off him for considerably less.
