Postby no_8wire » Mon Jul 10, 2006 11:00 am

As above who took a sick day/ went to work late, to enable them to watch the World Cup final?

Guess if I go it will be about an 1 hour or so late...

I didn't but everyone else in the company did (including the bosses :D )
We know that four-wheel drive doesn't work in a racing car, and I proved to myself that it doesn't work very well for rallycross. I'm absolutely convinced that it has no future in rallying, either, even if the regulations allowed it. - Roger Clark (rallying legend), circa 1976

I went out for a coffee this morning and it was on TV.

I gotta say that this sport realy does annoy the hell out of me.

It's like rugby for faggots with 0% hand/eye co-ordination... :?

I disagree, soccer has an incredible level of skill in it.
Especially so, compared to the likes of rugby.
To say that soccer players lack coordination is laughable.

In saying that, I hate all team sports regardless, so meh.

Maybe thats because they use their feet? :)

I got to work yesterday morning and found all the lights on and stuff and found a whole bunch of people in the big room with a projector setup watching it. They had like a breakfast buffet setup as well, so I thought hey, free food. Choice!
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.
