sadly, and this kinda makes it more irritating... it was getting an alarm installed next wed

mainly stereo and cd's made up the 7.5k worth of stuff but there was also alot of clothing and a pair of shoes and some other "crap" in there that was worth a bit (no not drugs!)

yep im keepin an eye on trademe and so are the police, who suprisingly, were VERY helpful when i rang up swearing and cursing. the lady managed to calm me down a little and take some details, then called me back to make sure i was ok and had a way of getting home, then called back again to see if i could give them any more details. car was fingerprinted first thing the next morning although they didnt manage to get many prints off of it.

as usual, i am having a hell of a time with insurance companies. once this is over i am ditching lumlies cos they are a bunch of @#$%^&

Sorry to hear that but the number one rule is:

Alarm before sounds!!

Will the sounds be covered by insurance? If so make sure you wait till the alarm is in cos the thieves may come back looking for the new items and your car is pretty distinctive
