How did it go, anyone got pictures???

Ahhh right. I didn't take any pictures....

The road was smooth and didn't cut up badly, there was only one corner that consisted of largish rocks. A good range of corners/straights tight & open well cambered & not not so well cambered.
I was supprised that my car didn't really feel like it lacked power, even though the hill was steepish.
A very fun day with no moments... although I wasn't aiming to have any :)

The road was in great nick and held up well, especially considering the rain that had been thrown at it all week.
I think the fact that the forest has been logged allowing wind & sun to get in there helps a lot.

Because of the open-ness since logging we anticipated the road to be faster than before and be more 1300cc friendly.
I haven't checked the times so it will be interesting when I do.

1st & 2nd were Nathan Thomas in his WRX & Aaron Cook in the Jazz.
Shows the benefit of that NZRC competition raising their game a bit.

Was a great event to watch, Nice day and i can see why they call it valley view, We could see wellington and the ferry in the harbour from where we were! 8O

As soon as i get my cage im going to enter that one, sure beats walking up there :lol:

I took some photos but alot came out blurry - stupid camera :x
