Interchanging Coils...

Postby jondee86 » Wed Jul 12, 2006 10:46 pm

A lot of late 80's Toyotas have similar looking coils, just with different
mounting brackets. Is it fair to say that if the plugs match up, you can
swap the coils from one chassis to another ??

Just cause they look the same doesn't mean they are.

Electronic and points ign will be very different from each other,

But in saying that a lot of the elec ones will interchange with each other,
